Stroup school house, small log house. In "The name of God" what do men want to build a log school house for,
in this day and age of the world? Like the old maid who prayed for a husband; when the owl said "who, who"
she answered "any body good Lord." This house don't fill the bill; teacher A. J. Hubbard; wages $35; No. of
pupils twenty; average fourteen. This is a small school; cannot say much about It; I like what I saw of it pretty well.
